The Schaumburg Amateur Radio Club has been around since the mid 1970’s. Our main strength is being a very active club, in addition to running 3 repeaters on 2m and 70 cm. We try to schedule club activities that get our members doing something, as opposed to talking about things or just paying for new equipment. We prefer to be on the air, building equipment, participating in public service events, searching for hidden transmitters, working contests, or holding licensing classes. The club can provide you with ample opportunity to get more active in whatever facet of ham radio you enjoy most. If you are new to ham radio, or just thinking about getting your first license, we can help you get started, and expose you to the widest variety of operating, giving you a chance to see for yourself what your personal favorites are.

Payment of membership dues can be by either mailing a check, or you can pay online immediately via Zelle using your mobile banking app.
Dues are collected on or before June 30 of each year
Membership dues are to be paid by June 30. Dues paid in April through December will cover the member through June 30 of the following year. Dues paid January through March will only cover the member through June 30 of the same year.
Standard member: $30 per year
Reduced member: $25 per year
Note that Reduced fees apply only to full time students, active duty military, or over age 65.
